Accelerator CZ (also called CBS), CAS 95-33-0 (N-cyclohexyl-2-benzothiazolesulfenamide), is a sulfenamide (delayed-action) rubber accelerator. It gives a long scorch safety during processing and a fast cure, and is one of the most widely used accelerators for tyres and technical rubber goods. PolyBlueChem supplies it to the specification below with per-batch COA and SDS.

Applications
- Tyres – tread, carcass and sidewall compounds; the standard sulfenamide accelerator.
- Technical rubber goods – belts, hoses, seals and moulded parts.
- General rubber – NR, SBR, BR and blends, usually activated with zinc oxide and stearic acid.
- Latex and adhesives – where a delayed-action cure is wanted.
As a sulfenamide, CZ gives good scorch safety at processing temperatures and a fast, efficient cure; it is often used with a secondary accelerator or activator to fine-tune the cure.
Packaging and documentation
- 25 kg PP/PE bags or fibre drums; keep sealed, cool and dry.
- Per-batch certificate of analysis (COA) and safety data sheet (SDS).
